I interpreted this a bit differently. Is the other person at some sort of disadvantage? Is that why you say you're sorry, or are you just trying to get away?

@ Kat - Isn't it beautiful that a poem sometimes can resonate whatever the reader wants? That's what I so love about poetry and it makes me reluctant to explain and take away from that.
