Legacy
When all that's left of me
will be small reminiscences
fragmented in others minds
I hope they'll be the ones
that carry laughter
and happiness
the fun
and sunny days
the tenderness
and love we shared
instead
of the tears
and the rain

I sure hope so soon. I'll remember your poetry. :D

Oh Noah ... even if you don't see it right now ... you still have so much to live for and so many sunny days ahead ... don't let the rain keep you from that!

Fenny,
One thing I am positive of in your case is that long after you are gone, your legacy will include wonderful poetry.

Thank you Scott ... you're too kind!

No, just telling it as it is.

More than anything else, don't you think, we as poets want that legacy? Not fame, not fortune (that's for certain!), but to leave pieces of ourselves for someone to discover, to make them smile, laugh, or even cry.
Beautiful, Fenny.

I have been meaning to leave a note here - letting you know how much I enjoy reading your work from time to time and when I read Legacy it brought me to the realization that we often neglect to tell people things we have on our mind because we always think there is tomorrow. A bad habbit to get into. So, thank you for allowing us the enjoyment of these words you magnificently use to build images and emotion.
Best~
