Earth's Decline
Never has there been
a greater injustice
or sin - if you would -
than man robbing earth
of all her beauty and good
leaving nothing but dearth

It is, indeed, a sin to strip nature of her beauty. Soon, only man's design will be left, and God's work will be torn asunder. 'Dearth' is the word that comes to mind.
