Dream

She dreamt she was a flower

blooming in a field

petals wide open

her gentle heart revealed

Waving softly in the breeze

while taking in some sun

she was never happier

and then the dream was gone

Another short but beautifully descriptive poem. It reminds me of one of my favorite Robert Frost poems, Wind and Window Flower. I love your style. Thanks for sharing.

How quickly dreams evaporate...don't they? Beautiful poem, as always.

For some reason, I couldn't comment below re: Luke. I am so sorry to read of his passing. Sending many hugs your way. He is with you, always. Love never dies.
